People’s Choice Award Winner

Friday marked the final day of the Whitsundays Art Prize Exhibition at Coral Sea Resort, and the last chance to vote in the People's Choice Award.

With over 1,000 visitors to the Exhibition and online views, we are delighted to announce Guzaliya Xavier's work 'Memories II' as the winner of the $1,000 People's Choice Award, sponsored by Bendigo Bank.

The Exhibition ran for seven days in the Elbow Room of the Coral Sea Resort, and visitors were able to view the seventy 2D and 3D works from sixty-three Australian artists. Many of the finalists sold artworks, and we highly encourage the community to continue to support these artists and their portfolios.

Exhibition Coordinator Glenda Brown said "We are honoured to be able to showcase the spectacular talent of artists in our region and from around Australia."
