Theme: Art & Environment
This three-day celebration of art promotes the wonders of the Whitsunday Region. It welcomes festival goers to experience fun and interactive, vibrant and energetic arts events. The Whitsundays comes to life with sights, sounds and tastes in the form of sculptures, fine arts, live music, theatre and parades and art markets.
In 2020, community members participated in the creation of artworks and major environmental sculptures. A lantern parade lit up opening night. Local students from the Whitsundays paraded with their laterns accompanied by the sounds and energy of African drumming performers.
The magic of this festival was further highlighted by being in one of the world’s most beautiful locations.
