We’re looking for inspiring makers and creatives to join our curated marketplace.

Whitsundays Arts Festival invites artists, food stalls, crafts persons, makers, and designers to apply to host a market stall at this year’s Handmade Markets, Sunday 24th September in Airlie Beach. Sell your work, demonstrate your making process, and host a workshop at the ever-popular Handmade Markets in one of the most beautiful settings in the Whitsundays. 

The Markets are being held on Sunday 24th September from 8am to 2pm (setup from 6am).

Please note the following requirements for your market stall:

Payment will be required up-front to apply for a market stall. Applications will be reviewed, and if stalls don’t meet the accepted terms (handmade Australian goods only), stallholders will be notified and refunded.

Self-supplied marquee – please no pegs, weights only.                         

• Market Site - Single - $40 (3m x 3m)

• Market Site - Double - $70 (3m x 6m)

Insurance: A current certificate of insurance for $10 Million Public Liability will be required to set up a stall. This certificate must cover the market date and be provided by Friday 11th September. 

Note: ‘1 day’ market insurance is available from My Market Insurance. 

Food stalls: Stall holders will need to submit a current Food Licence.

All stallholders are required to email whitsundaycreatives@gmail.com with their Current Insurance Certificate (and Food Business Licence, if appropriate).
